'Galleri Eva Harr' Reine in Lofoten

During the summer of 2007 a permanent gallery showing the art of Eva Harr opened at Reine Kultursenter (cultural centre), at Reine in Lofoten. The gallery presents a permanent collection of paintings from her artistic career, plus a selection from her graphic works. In the extension of the gallery photographer Frank A. Jenssen shows the photo installation From Lofoten in a separate movie theatre.

There is also a bookshop in the area, where you can purchase graphic works by Eva Harr, plus postcards, books and posters by both artists.

The gallery and Reine Culture Centre are both owned and run by Mr. Wiggo Andersen, who arranges cultural journeys throughout the world (please see www.temareiserfredrikstad.no), and by architect Ole Tørklep, Oslo. Reine Culture Centre is still under construction, the plans include housing for artists, for rental. The centre will focus on all kinds of school of art, literature seminars, concerts and theme exhibitions. There will also be an atelier for pictorial artists. Gallery Eva Harr represents the first construction step, and is designed by architect Ole Tørklep.

The gallery has its fixed opening hours throughout the summer season, from May until September, but is also opens on request outside the season. A website for Reine Culture Centre is under construction.
